What is Book Blinks and how do I use it?

Book Blinks is your creative companion in the digital world! It's a user-friendly platform designed specifically for authors and illustrators to create stunning websites with ease. How do I set up my author page?

Creating your author page is a breeze! Simply log into your Creator hub and follow our step-by-step guide. We'll walk you through adding your bio, uploading images, and customizing your page to reflect your style. Want to see it in action? How do I set up my book page?

Showcasing your books is just as easy! In your Creator hub, navigate to the Book page section. Here, you can add book covers, descriptions, and even link to purchase options. For a visual guide, head over to our Watch a demo page, book demos are below author page demos or see book pages explained!

How do I log in to Book Blinks?

Welcome back! To log in, simply enter your username and password on our login page. If you're having trouble, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team via info@bookblinks.com or chat.

How do I sign up for Book Blinks?

We're excited to have you join us! To sign up, we'll need your first and last name (to create your unique URL), your password, and your role (author, illustrator, or both). This helps us tailor your initial page structure to your needs.

How do I reset my password?

Forgot your password? No worries! Click the "reset password" link on the login page and enter the email associated with your Book Blinks account. We'll send you a reset link. Click it, and you'll be back in action in no time!

How do I change my name?

Your name, your way! Sign in to your Creator hub, then go to Profile > My name at the top-right of the screen. Here, you can update both your real name (which we keep private for verification purposes) and your public pen name or display name.

How do I manage my professional profile?

Showcase your talents! In your Creator hub, go to Profile > My profile at the top-right of the screen. Here, you can update your role, preferred genres, categories, and even art mediums if you're an illustrator.

How do I update my location?

Put yourself on the map! In Creator hub, go to Profile > My location at the top-right of the screen. Add your country and a more specific location if you'd like. It's flexible, so share as much or as little as you're comfortable with.

How do I change my email address?

Keeping in touch is important! In Creator hub, go to Profile > Change email address. Enter your new email and confirm with your current password. Easy peasy!

How do I change my password?

Security first! In Creator hub, navigate to Profile > Change password. Enter your current password, then your new one. Stay safe out there!

What about permissions?

We're all about showcasing your talent! Currently, we only ask for permission to display and share your beautiful website. Your success is our success!

Using Book Blinks

Do I need coding skills to create my Book Blinks website?

Not at all! Our intuitive tools make it simple to create a professional online portfolio without any coding knowledge. Plus, our round-the-clock support is here to help you customize your site just the way you want.

How do I set up my Book Blinks website?

It's easy! Just fill in the information as you go along. Preview your progress and go live whenever you're ready. We've designed Book Blinks to be simple and user-friendly. If you need help, our support team is just a chat away.

Can I edit information on my site after it's published?

Absolutely! You can edit your information anytime. Once you save your changes, they'll be instantly visible on your Book Blinks website.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

You bet! All our websites are designed to work seamlessly across all devices and platforms, from high-resolution desktops to laptops and smartphones.

How do I find my Book Blinks website?

It's just a click away! Sign in to your account (with an active Standard or Premium plan), and you'll be taken to your Creator hub. At the bottom of the hub, click "View page" to see your live website. You can also do this separately in your author page or book page sections.

Do I need to host my Book Blinks website?

Nope! All Book Blinks public and paid websites include hosting, so you don't need to worry about additional costs or services.

Can I add multiple book pages to my website?

Sure can! The Premium plan allows you to create up to 5 book pages. Need more? You can purchase extra slots through your Creator hub. Check out our Watch a demo page to see how it's done.

Can I add more images to the Gallery?

Definitely! If you've reached the maximum slots, you can either upgrade to a Premium plan or purchase additional slots. See how it's done. 

Is my author or book page published instantly?

Yes indeed! Any changes you make and save in the Creator hub are published immediately and can be seen by your visitors.

Where can I see all available feature descriptions?

Head over to our Book Blinks Feature tour page to view all available features. It's a great way to explore everything we offer!

How can I connect to a custom domain?

Connecting a custom domain is easy, but it involves a few steps. For a visual guide, check out our Demo page. We offer this option for both author and book pages. If you prefer, we can handle the setup for you for a fee. Just let us know!

Billing and subscriptions

How can I view my active plan?

Easy peasy! Sign in to your Creator hub, then click on My profile > My subscription at the top-right of the screen. Here, you can view and manage all the details of your current subscription.

Where can I see my payment history?

Keeping track is simple! In your Creator hub, go to My profile > Payment history at the top-right of the screen. You'll find a complete record of all your payments to date.

How do I change my payment method or update card details?

In the Creator hub, head to My profile > My Subscription. You'll see your current payment method and a link to "Change payment method". Click this to update your card details or switch to a new payment method.

How can I cancel my subscription?

We'll be sad to see you go, but we've made cancelling easy. In your Creator hub, go to My profile > My subscription. Look for the option to cancel your active subscription plan. Remember, we're always here if you change your mind!

I cancelled my subscription but want to restart it. How do I do that?

Welcome back! To restart your subscription, sign in to your Creator hub and go to My profile > My subscription. Here, you can restart your previous plan or choose a new subscription plan that fits your current needs.

Do I need to pay for hosting separately?

Not at all! All Book Blinks public and paid websites include hosting. No need to worry about additional costs or services - we've got you covered.

How can I suggest a new feature for Book Blinks?
